Potai oh Potai

Ingat lagi the last meal sebelum pegi UK..kat Azahar Maju, Senawang. Takde la best sangat.
Tapi, benda macam ni kalau tak jumpa atau dah takde barulah merasai kelazatannya.


Last 2 week melepas dendam kat petai. Kadang-kadang Kedai Kim Thai tu ada import petai dari Thailand. 50p sepapan beb! belasah je walaupun dah kecut. Hargailah petai-petai kat Malaysia tu. Nasib baiklah bukan peminat kerdas. Kalau tak, memang tak jumpa kat Kim Thai.

London Underground yg Caya!

Kitorang kena tabik jugak la kat sistem underground train diorang ni kat London.
Diorang boleh buat underground tunnel yg berlapis-lapis sampai kitorang tak tau sedalam mana kita orang turun tangga dekat underground station. Kalau pakai stroller yang bagak dan leceh sikit nak lipat macam kitorang punya agak mencabar kuasa urat tangan. Kitorang terpaksa mengangkat depan dan belakang stroller semasa turun tangga tu. Tapi, ada juga sesetengah stesen yang ada lif untuk turun tapi kami agak malang kerana boleh kata semua perjalanan kami guna tangga. Tapi, itulah hakikat travelling ni, tak sah kalau tak feel, tak bau, tak pijak dan tak nampak pengalaman yang menarik ni (pada mulanya).

Kita boleh tengok signboard underground atau nama stesennya di kaki lima jalan utama. Gambar ini di area Circus London, tempat yang paling sibuk dgn orang yg kaki shopping dan orang-orang opis. Ironinya nama Circus ni bukan tempat tengok circus.

Tak sure la sekarang ni boleh ambik gambar ke tak kat dalam tube station ni.
gambar ni di tingkat yang paling bawah sekali, agak panas dan bau habuk besi.


Dalam tube..lebih kurang macam dalam LRT kat Malaysia. Kitorang diberi keutamaan tempat duduk sebab bawak budak kecik & stroller. :)


Ada banyak line underground, tapi yg ini paling laju, kalau tak silap Central Line


Kalau train penuh, kena berdiri jugak gamaknya

Most Eligible Bachelor

On the way back from Sheffield to Manchester, we stopped by the lake for some pictures. We didn't realize we broke into a private property area. However the owner who just got back from fishing gave us 2 minutes to finish the photo shoot. I had this shot set up in just 2 minutes..

Sheffield Malaysian Games 2009

First held in 1992, organized by Malaysian Students in Sheffield. The response was overwhelming. I took part with the boys from Manchester for volleyball. A sport that I haven't played for almost 5 years. Pretty rusty here and there and my vertical jump is just high enough to turn on the exhaust fan in my bathroom (which is located not quite high on the wall). Luckily, the height of the net was just nice to provide a lot of action from the boys.

Fresh from the oven. Mr Lan, the one holding the ball was our team captain . The travel wouldn't have been possible without your help. Thanks man! We got two teams for volleyball and another team for badminton. Err..aku tak kenal yg paling hujung kanan..

The boys brought back gold to Manchester. Caya kau!

Sorry man, I got a fast camera but a slow lens. I would rather enjoy my basmati rice than save for behemoth lens for now lah..:)

Happy Birthday Ayu!

I just got back from Sheffield Malaysian Games. My wife invited me to join her friend's birthday party at Shere Khan Restaurant, here in the Curry Mile of Manchester. Yes, along the road you will get the taste of curry and halal foods with affordable price. A place for Malaysian not to be missed when travel to Manchester. (Postcode M14 XXX for those who wants to install the map in the Satellite Navigator lah).

I got load of pictures from Sheffield to upload but I got to publish this first since these ladies love their pictures to be taken, I gave them the go first. Anyway, it's her birthday!!
